Growing up in the bustling city of Singapore with little or no contact with the forest until the age of 17 when he chanced upon photos of the local wildlife. Singapore is left with 5% of its forest area harboring over 50% of the island’s biodiversity. He has since started documenting in 2015 before focusing his efforts regionally. He dreams to work with researchers on expeditions. He wants to be a National Geographic Explorer someday to help local communities grow within the region and abroad. He hopes more people would recognise the power of art to harness it for science.
