  • Advocate for the Deaf

    Kenneth is Deaf but speaking, he strongly supports inclusiveness in Singapore and abroad. His loss of hearing is severe and profound on each side.

    He is able to lipread well and wears a Cochlear Implant.

  • Natural Science Illustrator

    As a freelance illustrator for about 7 years, he has contributed to guidebooks, websites, science publications and created his own merchandise. He hopes to elevate his abilities to work with conservation-based organisations to help spearhead conservation efforts through art and design. He is currently one of the only few natural science illustrators in Singapore.

  • Conservation Photographer

    As an avid photographer, he continues to hone his skills and techniques to produce the best images of undescribed or rare animals.

  • SE Asian Biodiversity Ambassador

    Kenneth constantly designs and publishes his merchandise to raise and spread the love for regional biodiversity in Southeast Asia. He often travels around SE Asia to visit different places for photography and field experiences. He has collaborated with organizations and conservationists in the region.

Growing up in the bustling city of Singapore, he had little to no exposure to the forest until the age of 17, when he stumbled upon photos of the local wildlife. Inspired, he began documenting nature in 2015, later expanding his focus to the broader region. He dreams of collaborating with researchers on expeditions and aspires to become a National Geographic Explorer, using his work to help local communities both in the region and beyond. Through his art, he hopes to raise awareness of its power to support scientific discovery and conservation.
